Regrets. A necessary evil ?

Yes, I do agree that while it is not possible to avoid ALL regrets in one's life, but going by own experiences, as well as borrowing from the experiences of others, I am of the firm opinion that YES, it is possible to avoid at least some major regrets in one's life, if one were to take prudent decisions early. Would that not make a significant qualitative difference to one's life ? And as a footnote, let me add that some of us are even bent upon repeating the mistakes of others whom we know. Isn't that adding to our regrets later on in our lives and that too unnecessarily?. Best Wishes
